Good Afternoon Everyone!
It has been a while since I've posted, but the life of a Studio Owner is so different from what you would expect! A lot of people assume you rock up in the afternoon and go home when the classes are over, but it is not that at all! Owning a studio is a lifestyle in itself. It is constant organisation and planning so far in advance. It feels as though your mind is 6 months ahead and what you do in your day to day life is what you had planned 6 months ago!
We have had such a crazy year so far, I cannot believe I have not done a single blog post! We have pulled our Performance Teams together and performed at our annual Showcase, the Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod, the Brisbane Dance Eisteddfod and the Born to Perform Competition. They have also just finished performing at three school fetes - Talara Primary College, Pacific Lutheran College and Unity College! Our students have also Performed a Flash Mob for the arrival of Team Scotland for the Commonwealth Games, Participated in Classical Ballet Exams, Prepared for their upcoming Jazz Exams, Performed for the Sunshine Coast Artistic Skating Club, attended our 'Mummy & Me' Mothers Day Celebration, and attended the Ballet Theatre Queensland (BTQ)'s performance of the Little Mermaid.
In between all of this, our #SCPACstars are hard at work in their classes, becoming stronger each day, making new friends, and loving the art of Dance. They continue to challenge and inspire us, as we do them. I look forward to posting more consistently and keeping you all up to date!
Yours in Dance,
